OpenArts in the Neighborhood

Our newest community outreach program, OpenArts in the Neighborhood is designed to take art experiences out of our Main Street location into different parts of the county, to serve those who can't easily come to us and create neighborhood art hubs.

Our pilot program began in March, 2024, at Zion Baptist Church in Cardinal. We have over 30 participants of all ages in this intergenerational art club. One of the program's goals is to build relationships within each neighborhood we serve, as well as foster and facilitate a love of the arts. This program is funded by The Mathews Women's Giving Circle.

We plan to expand to more churches in 2024 and 2025.
