Year-End Fundraising Drive Supporting The Bay School's Artful Annual Campaign and Giving Tuesday 2024

As one of her last philanthropic acts prior to her passing, Roz White, our great longtime supporter and donor, gifted The Bay School with $10,000 to be used as a matching fund during our end-of-year portion of our 2024 Annual Campaign.  Our year-end fundraising effort is focused on raising monies to support our OpenArts After School Program, which provides safe, engaging, creatively stimulating programming for young people after school.

Since 2018, 177 children between the ages of 6 to 17 have been involved in our OpenArts After School Program, with 46 families involved having multiple children attending over the years. As of 2024, the program has grown to five sessions per week during the school year, serving 60 children at two locations: The Bay School Community Arts Center and Cobbs Creek Art Center. The five weekly sessions currently offered include one for teens, one for middle school students, and three for elementary age students. Every semester, these classes have a waitlist.

In honor of Roz's memory, we are concluding our Artful Annual Campaign and launching Giving Tuesday by asking our community to support the continuation and expansion of the OpenArts After School program. Every dollar you contribute will be matched by Roz's gift up to our goal of $20,000, doubling your tax-deductible donation.
