2024 Tour de Chesapeake

On Saturday, May 18, The Bay School manned a rest stop on the Tour de Chesapeake route.  It was a rainy and chilly day, but the bikers were hardy souls! Although we only had 56 riders visit our stop, we met folks from places as far away as New Orleans and Michigan.  Many of the bikers said they do this event every year, and one rider said this was his 21st year participating!

As always, our volunteers provided significant support and enthusiasm in providing food and staffing the rest stop throughout the day! Here are just a few pictures taken throughout the day.
