Feb 8: Rotary Club of Mathews Annual Chili Cook-Off

Come support a good cause and have some spicy fare on Super Bowl Saturday, February 8 from 4:30-7:00 PM.  This will be the Rotary Club of Mathews' 9th year for sponsoring this festive occasion that raises money to improve the lives of Mathew's citizens. The event will be at the Piankatank Ruritan Club Building, 7138 Buckly Hall Road, in Hudgins, VA 23076

The Bay School will be there defending its award-winning chili, having won the Judges Choice Award last year. Other participants will include the Mathews Historical Museum, Mathews Land Conservancy, Mathews Kiwanis Club, Farmers Focus/Supply One, and of course, The Rotary Club of Mathews.  

Tickets are available for $20 each and can be purchased from the chili cook-off participants and at Chesapeake Bank, Mathews Visitor & Information Center, and Haskins Bayside.

Take-out orders will be available for purchase at the door and each booth will have quarts available for sale after 6:00 PM.
