POLICIES

 

ENTRY FORMS:

Artwork, entry forms and fee must be received by Friday, November 14 and be accompanied by artist’s bio and description of artwork.  Artists may submit up three pieces to be judged and are encouraged to submit additional pieces to be exhibited and sold. 

 

Deliver works to:

The Bay School, PO Box 1524, 279 Main Street, Mathews, VA 23109.

 

SALES:

All work submitted must be priced for sale including commission or marked NFS  (Not For Sale). The Bay School retains a 30% commission on all show sales.  Title labels, which will include the price and artist information, should be included on work.  Work may be picked up on November 25th unless artist would like to leave merchandise for Christmas shopping.   All pieces to be returned by mail must be accompanied with appropriate return postage (including insurance if desired) and will be mailed Nov. 29 unless prior arrangements have been made with staff.

RECEPTION:
Artists are encouraged to attend the awards reception on Saturday, November 22 from 4-6pm.   A short bio as well as a description of each judged piece is required for our program and should accompany the artwork.
