Beginning / Intermediate Wheel Throwing 0628

This class is for students who have a specific interest in introduction to working with clay on the wheel.  Students with no previous experience and those needing a “refresher” course will learn the basics of handling clay, centering and raising forms on the wheel and basic throwing techniques.  More advanced students will learn to make cups, bowls and other vessels with handles and other functional forms.  Students will also learn more about surface textures, extruded additions, as well as basic slip application, glazing and firing techniques.   The class is limited to 6 students.
