Students with any level of experience from beginning to more advanced, may work with either oils or acrylics, and explore their own style and subject matter.  Beginning students will learn fundamental materials and techniques; while more experienced students will be challenged to reach another level.  The class will feature lecture, demonstration, individual instruction, and critiques.  The instructor will discuss taking photographs as reference material, selecting and using photos as reference, setting up still life, finding your own voice as a painter, and matting and framing your paintings.  A materials list will be sent.  For more info on the instructor please see his website at www.jameswarwickjones.com.
