In this class we will learn about the many applications of pencils as we explore values, shading, perspective, contrast, proportion, light sources, dimension and texture.  Through a variety of exercises, we will address some common insecurities and learn to simplify what you are seeing, transmit what you see onto paper, discover and solve drawing problems and work with rhythm and movement.  No previous experience in drawing is necessary.  Pay materials fee to instructor on day of class.
