This introductory course is for beginning students wanting to learn the basics of working with clay to create sculptural and functional forms.  No previous clay experience required.  Students will learn the fundamental techniques of handbuilding with clay, drape molding, surface textures, extruded additions, as well as basic slip application, glazing and firing processes.  Class limited to 8 students.
