Felted Vessels - the Tactility of Textiles

The tactility and warmth of vessels made from felted wool is the focus of this class.  Students will lay out and felt carded wool into firm, three dimensional works of textile art.  A variety of color and textures of fiber will be available for creting unique and graceful vessels, or more organic and abstract pieces.  The class will include a discussion and demonstration of post felting embellishment including beads, embroidery and excision.  Beginners welcome.  Pay materials fee to instructor on day of class.
