Students with no previous clay experience and those needing a “refresher” course will learn the basics of handling clay, centering and raising forms on the wheel and basic throwing techniques.  More advanced students will learn to make cups, bowls and other vessels with handles and other functional forms.  Students will also learn more about surface textures, extruded additions, as well as basic slip application, glazing and firing techniques.    The class is limited to 6 students.  If you have your own tools, the tool kit does not apply.
